Intense aromas of blakcberry jam, ancho chile, and clove. A medium-bodied mouthfeel with soft, supple, and rich tannin gives way to lingering flavors of stewed plums, white pepper, dark chocolate, and earth.

Vineyard Notes
Burn Pile Vineyard is our favorite Chambourcin vineyard located adjacent to an old burn pile on our estate. The burn pile was once used to burn old trees and trimmings from our apple orchards. We speculate that the sandy, carbon-rich soil at this particular site allows us to craft an intensely dark and concentrated wine that stands out from our other Chambourcin sites.
Production Notes
