“Coeur d’Est”, which meaning “Heart of the East”, reflects the French heritage of the grapes used in the blend and the fact that the AVA is located in the center of quality wine grape growing in the mid-Atlantic region of the East.
This Cabernet Franc was a co-fermented estate blend from three of our vineyard sites - Duck Pond Vineyard, South 322 Vineyard, and the Men's House Block.
With this rosé blend from our estate vineyards, we are able to achieve many of the same flavor elements of Provençal rosé wine, along with the traditional pale pink color of these sought-after wines.
This Chardonnay shows much more lemon acidity as opposed to tropical fruit. The lemon component along with the barrel fermentation technique provides a beautiful lemon custard note. The overall flavor profile of this Chardonnay is acid driven with a clean minerality and layered complexity.
