Wine Profile
Vineyard Notes
The fruit for this wine is sourced from a few Chardonnay vineyards on the property, including Bill and Penni's original half-acre planting that started it all, back in 2000. Another old vineyard, just west of the tasting room, provides a small amount of fruit, while the bulk of the wine comes from two younger vineyards on the north slope of Norman's Hill.
Production Notes
The wine spent two years en tirage, extracting texture and flavor from the autolyzing yeast cells. In the winter of 2021, the bottles were riddled and disgorged. Nothing was added at disgorgement, making this a Brut Zero.
